Outdoor Classroom Day: May 18th

Outdoor Classroom Day is a global campaign to celebrate learning and play outside the classroom, and inspire schools everywhere to make learning and play part of EVERY day! The movement is led by Project Dirt and powered by Unilever’s Dirt is Good brands.

The campaign started with only a handful of schools in the UK and now brings together thousands of schools across the world. To get involved, simply take at least one class outdoors on the day and focus on how important their playtime (recess/break) is, too.

Celebrate and inspire outdoor learning and play with thousands of other schools around the world that will take lessons outside and prioritize playtime. Outdoor learning improves children’s health, engages them with learning and leads to a greater connection with nature. Play not only teaches critical life skills such as resilience, teamwork and creativity, but is central to children’s employment of childhood.

Play for today, prepared for tomorrow. Find out how you can get involved at:  www.outdoorclassroomday.com.
