AGS Geography Teacher Fellows Initiative

We are now accepting applications for the Class of 2018-2019!
The American Geographical Society’s (AGS) Geography Teacher Fellows Initiative is a selective nationwide professional development program for Geography teachers who teach Advanced Placement (AP™) Human  Geography (APHG). The Geography Teacher Fellows Initiative was started in 2016, as a means to recognize the teachers from across the United States who teach APHG and provide them with a special year to celebrate the unique experiences they give to students who take the APHG course.

We are currently accepting applications until June 22, 2018. AGS will be selecting 50 applicants for the upcoming 2018-2019 class.

In order to accommodate new incoming applicants, teachers eligible to apply for the 2018-2019 class must be at least a year removed from their previous Fellowship. That means the class of 2016-2017 is now eligible to re-apply!

If you teach AP Human Geography or know someone interested in the AGS Geography Teacher Fellows Initiative, share this application!
