Want to get started in an inexpensive Robotics program for your students? (STEM)

Maybe also enter a team in a national competition?

This is appropriate for educators teaching students in grades 5-6, Middle School, or beginning High School.

We will use the day-long workshop to instruct teams of teachers attending from the same school to plan, build & test their own “Angelfish” ROVs. Held at CCSU, we will have an up-to-date classroom and we will supply all of the tools and components needed. We will spend the afternoon testing the educators ROVs in the CCSU pool.

We will use the engineering and design process to design and build the ROVs. We will enhance the session with help from STEM related presentations from MATE. Participants will be able to take their ROV chassis home with them (not the electronic parts, however) and they will receive instructions and other materials from MATE.

Space is limited and we are placing emphasis on enrolling teams of two educators from the same school. (If you don’t have a “partner”, register by yourself.)
